As the first Rare Gem of 2025, this washed Gesha micro-lot highlights the skill and dedication of producers Neyireth Charry and Duberney Cifuentes. Grown on their farm, La Palma, this exceptional lot was one of 30 finalists from over 1,000 entries at Colombia’s most important specialty coffee auction in October, where we were honored to purchase it directly. The producers have won numerous awards for their lots over the years, including the 2023 Cup of Excellence, and this coffee is no exception.
Grown from seeds originally sourced from Boquete, Panama—home to some of the most coveted Gesha coffees—this coffee offers a clean, refined, and sparkling cup profile. Tart apple notes are complemented by delicate jasmine florals, a hallmark of the variety, along with a tea-like body, vanilla sweetness, and a subtle spice that adds depth.
